About Legacy Dental Centre

Originally founded by Dr. Susan Najian in 2000, the clinic has been serving residents of North Vancouver and the Lower Mainland BC for over 20 years. Taking residency in May 2021 Dr. James Hu continues Dr. Najian's legacy of excellence in dental practice and thus renamed the clinic 'Legacy Dental Centre' July 2021.

 

Dentistry is in Dr. Hu's blood. He is 4th generation dentist and a graduate of the University of Alberta in Edmonton. His dental interests are vast and he looks to continue providing all your dental needs. With his own experience of close to 25 years and a number of continuing education courses over the years, Dr Hu has honed his skills in all aspects of general dentistry and beyond. 

We will be offering regular general dentistry along with implants, Aligner “invisible braces” Periodontal Surgery, Root canal therapy as well as wisdom teeth extraction under Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas) sedation (coming soon) PRF (platelet-rich fibrin) procedures which aids and hastens healing after surgery

Over the next few months, you will be noticing a gradual change in our clinic as we renovate and upgrade some aging equipment as well as adding new cutting-edge technology. We have already introduced digital radiographs (X-rays) which will reduce the amount of radiation you get, and intraoral cameras and scanners (no more yucky molds for some). We plan to get CBCT scan equipment in the near future that will help with implant placements.

To help fight climate change we plan to go paperless and digital. We will also be implementing and going above and beyond the BCCDC’s recommendations to protect staff and patients during and beyond this pandemic. We will be fogging the operatory between patients with an agent that is used in the food and agro-industry. A UVC light + Hepa filtration system has been installed to keep the air in the office clean and safe.
